The principle of the lift foils
The lift foil is the combination of a hoverboard and a hydrofoil surfboard. Lift foils have a lithium ion battery, as is normally used in the automotive industry. Together with the torpedo-shaped electric motor and the propeller, this provides the necessary drive practically silently. A mast connects the board with the motor and the associated wing (foil), or the unit consisting of the front and rear wing. The combination enables the eFoil to rise from the water. At this point, classic surfing combines with high-quality technology. Because while you steer the board with your body weight, the associated waterproof Bluetooth remote control ensures acceleration.
Before using the board for the first time, you must first charge it. If the battery is full, you can use the eFoil for about 40 to 60 minutes at a time; the exact time of use also depends on the model.
Who are Lift Foils designed for?
Lift foils are available in several model variants. The differences are in the size and shape of the board and the wing (foil). The decisive selection criteria are your body weight and your ability in terms of surfing or other relevant water sports.
